Hunter made sure the Dominican fans enjoyed themselves. He blasted a solo shot in the 3rd inning and bombed a two-run dinger (his 5th of the season) in the 5th inning. SSB had 11 hits in the game while Dominican had 6, but Dominican had the more timely hits. Mike Mussina(6-5) went 8 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory. Kiko Calero recorded the save, his 5th. Tom Glavine(8-7) ended up with the loss. He allowed 3 homeruns in 4 and 1/3 innings of work. 'I always am most impressed when a pitcher finds a way to win even without his best stuff,' Ralph Madara said after the game. 'Mussina did not have command of his pitches most of the afternoon, but he proved he really knew how to pitch!'
